In a major announcement President Trump announced a civil nuclear agreement with Saudi Arabia will proceed if Saudi Arabia normalizes relations with Israel.
The Civil Nuclear Deal Between the US Department of Energy and Saudi Arabia will have no enrichment material. It will be used for non military purposes such as The UAE’s program. However, President Trump made it clear that it is based on Saudi Arabia fulflling the Abraham Accords . The Abraham Accords were designed to formalize relations between Israel and Arab nations.
Many pro-Israel Congress members were quick to denounce the the agreement as giving away the treats before taking the medicine.
Progress on normalization between Arab states and Israel stalled following the October 7th attacks on Israel. Saudi Arabia hardened its stance that Israel must stop the conflict against Hamas>
